I was so delighted to see this on the Hobby Lobby website. So sweet and I really like the images in the shadow. Jesus we celebrate your coming as a helpless human baby to grow up & redeem this world!
Consuelo enjoys being a homebirth midwife!
This is a note from one of my sweet clients (who is now a doula!) in Virginia:
"7 years ago, I was in labor. I had been on bed rest for a week, because it 'felt' too early... I am a 42 week birth person, and at 40 weeks, was in a bit of "early labor" so my midwife Consuelo York CY and I thought I should do some resting... but on this particular Sunday, I prayed with her over the phone about my 'symptoms': I gave it all (my worries, my hopes) to the Father, and then immediately, I started active labor. Consuelo was in church because her son was singing, I think, So as soon as she knew she came to my house for my homebirth. My darling Seven Jeremiah was born soon after. He has been a real joy to have around! I am so thankful to Father God for knowing what we need, and when we need it. .........and a side note, Seven has been excited for this birthday for like, 364 days."

I'm so excited that I'll be in El Paso through December and have enough time to serve more ladies and families here!
Are you in El Paso, Texas, USA?
Are you pregnant and due in December?
Or do you have friends who are and would like a homebirth?
Some December 2015 EDD's (estimated due date) will be able to have a special discount on Birth Services ...but space is limited!
Please connect with me as soon as possible; especially if you are in ministry or in the military!

Poem. About women. Author unknown but appreciated!
My willingness to carry life is the revenge, the antidote,
the great rebuttal to every murder, every abortion, and every genocide.
I sustain humanity.
Deep inside of me life grows. I am death's opposition.
I have pushed back the hand of darkness today.
I have caused there to be a weakening tremor among the ranks of those set on earth's destruction.
Today a vibration that calls angels to attention echoed throughout time.
Our laughter threatened hell today.
I dined with the greats of God's army
I made their meals.
I tied their shoes.
Today, I walked with greatness, and when they were tired, I carried them.
I poured myself out for the cause today.
It is finally quiet, but life stirs inside of me.
Gaining strength the pulse of life sends a constant reminder to both good And evil that I yield myself to heaven and now carry its dream
No angel has ever had such a privilege nor any man.
I am humbled by the honor.
I am great with destiny.
I birth the freedom fighters. In the great war, I am the leader of the underground resistance.
I smile at the disguise of my troops.
Surrounded by a host of warriors;
destiny swirling, invisible, tangible, with the anointing to alter history.
Our footsteps make For conquest. We move undetected among the common places.
Today I was a barrier between evil and innocence.
I was a gatekeeper watching over the hope of mankind and no intruder trespassed.
There is not an hour of the day or night when I turn from my post.
The fierceness of my love is unmatched on the earth
and because I smile instead of frown, the world will know the power of grace.
Hope has feet. It will run to the corners of the earth because I stood up against destruction.
I am a woman
I am mother.
I am the keeper and sustainer of life here on earth.
Heaven stands in honor of my mission. No one else has my call.
I am the daughter of Eve. . And Eve has been redeemed.
I am the opposition of death.
I am a woman.
My name is Consuelo and I am a full-time missionary midwife with Youth With A Mission (El Paso-Juárez), which is right on the border of Mexico and the USA.
